DoTicker Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (EULA)
Document version: 1.0
Effective date: 12 October 2026
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This Section 1 is the End User License Agreement for Apple’s Licensed Application and the Terms of Use for all platforms.
1.1 Agreement
These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (“Terms” or “EULA”) are a legal agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and DoTicker (“DoTicker”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) for the DoTicker mobile application and related websites and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
1.2 The Service
DoTicker helps you plan and manage tasks, reminders, calendars, streaks, and productivity insights. Some features are free; others require a paid DoTicker Pro subscription or lifetime purchase. The Service may show advertisements to non-Pro users. Optional features may include calendar sync, cloud backup, voice input, notifications, and AI-assisted suggestions when you enable them.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
1.3 License grant (iOS / Android / web)
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the application portion of the Service on devices you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business use.
You may not:
- copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as allowed by law;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where prohibited by law;
- rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or distribute the Service;
- use the Service to build a competing product or to scrape or harvest data in bulk;
- bypass paywalls, subscription checks, or technical protections;
- use the Service unlawfully or in a way that harms others or our systems.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
1.4 Accounts and security
Certain features require an account (for example email or a supported sign-in provider). You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
You may delete your account in Settings. Deletion is subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law (some data may be retained as described there).
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, risk to the Service, prolonged inactivity, or legal requirements.
1.5 User content
You retain ownership of tasks, notes, categories, and other content you create (“User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display User Content only to operate, secure, and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for User Content and must have the rights to submit it. Do not submit content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or malicious.
1.6 DoTicker Pro — subscriptions, lifetime, trials, and billing
1.6.1 Plans
DoTicker Pro unlocks premium features (such as ad-free use, extended limits, premium themes, and other benefits shown in the app at the time of purchase). Plans may include:
- Monthly auto-renewing subscription
- Annual auto-renewing subscription
- Lifetime one-time purchase (where offered)
- Introductory or promotional offers (where offered and eligible)
Exact features, prices, and trial length are shown in the app and on the checkout screen for your store region and may change. Product identifiers in stores include pro_subscription (with base plans such as monthly-plan and annual-plan) and lifetime_subscription.
1.6.2 Payment processors
- Apple App Store (iOS): purchases are processed by Apple Inc.
- Google Play (Android): purchases are processed by Google LLC
We use subscription management tools (including RevenueCat) to validate receipts and entitle your account. We do not store your full payment card details.
1.6.3 Auto-renewal (subscriptions)
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → DoTicker, or the subscription management link in the app.
- Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DoTicker.
You will be charged the then-current price (plus applicable taxes) upon renewal. Price changes will be communicated as required by Apple or Google; continued use after a change may constitute acceptance where permitted.
1.6.4 Free trials and introductory offers
If a free trial or introductory price is offered, eligibility and duration are shown at purchase. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the standard subscription price when the trial converts. You may lose trial eligibility if you have used a trial before on the same store account.
1.6.5 Restore purchases
You can restore purchases on a new device when signed in with the same store account used for the original purchase, via Settings in the app. Entitlement may require network access to verify with Apple, Google, or our servers.
1.6.6 Refunds
All billing and refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly.
- iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: support.google.com/googleplay → Request a refund
EU/UK consumers may have additional statutory withdrawal rights for digital content; store flows may present separate confirmations required by law.
1.6.7 Cancellation and effect
Cancelling stops future charges but does not retroactively refund the current period. You keep Pro access until the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated at purchase. Lifetime purchases remain entitled unless these Terms are terminated for breach.
1.7 Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by probing or attacking systems, sending spam through support channels, impersonating others, or using the Service to violate third-party rights or applicable law. We may investigate and take action, including content removal or account restriction.
1.8 Third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate third-party services (for example calendar providers, sign-in, cloud hosting, or AI providers) when you choose to enable them. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app.
1.9 Apple App Store — additional terms
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, the following also apply:
- Acknowledgement: These Terms are between you and DoTicker only, not Apple. DoTicker is solely responsible for the Licensed Application and its content.
- Scope of license: Your license is limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Usage Rules.
- Maintenance and support: DoTicker is responsible for support. Apple has no support obligation.
- Warranty: If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Product claims: DoTicker, not Apple, is responsible for product claims, legal compliance, and consumer protection claims.
- Intellectual property: In the event of third-party IP claims, DoTicker is responsible for investigation and defense, not Apple.
- Legal compliance: You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on a prohibited party list.
- Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
1.10 Google Play — additional terms
If you downloaded the app from Google Play, you must also comply with Google Play’s terms. Google is not responsible for the Service. Subscription management and refunds follow Google Play policies (Section 1.6).
1.11 Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- DoTicker will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) USD $50, except where law requires otherwise.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
1.12 Changes and contact
We may update these Terms for legal, security, or product reasons. Material changes will be notified in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service and cancel subscriptions through your store account.
